Fortunately there are plenty of things to do in and around Stevens Point and Wisconsin Rapids. Here's just a few fun outings to try with your family!
LUNCH BY THE RIVER- Wisconsin Rapids
Every Thursday at the Veterans Memorial Park near Roger's Cinema, Lunch By the River provides entertainment, food, and a social outing form 11:30am -1:00pm through the end of August. This fun community event gets everyone out of the house and into the sun for a couple hours. This is stroller friendly event! PORTAGE COUNTY PUBLIC LIBRARY STORY TIME- Stevens Point
Head on over to the library for some summer fun! There are many opportunities for you and your family get out of the house! Baby Story time is each Friday at 10:30 am, but there's a story time for any family, almost every week day! MEAD FIELD SPLASH PAD- Wisconsin Rapids
The Splash Pad is now open! Opening daily at 10:00 am, the splash pad offers a variety of water fun for toddlers and school agers. The splash pad offers a great afternoon out and lovely spot for a picnic as well. For more info, click here!
CENTRAL WISCONSIN CHILDREN'S MUSEUM- Stevens Point
Head on over to the Children's Museum in downtown Stevens Point for a fun outing for all! Almost daily there are special programs available for you and your little one to participate in. No program? No problem! The museum has something for all ages, including an infant room, play grocery store, art room and large motor play! There's something for everyone! MCMILLAN LIBRARY- Wisconsin Rapids
The library is full of fun for the whole family! Whether you have infants, or school agers, there's something for everyone, as well as a kajillion books to pick from to read! Baby Story time is Wednesdays and Thursdays at 9:30 am, and checking out the calendar here will give you access to all the other events happening at the library this summer!
KASH PLAYGROUND- Stevens Point
Head over to KASH playground in Mead Park for an fun adventure and picnic! This park offers a wide range of activities for all ages and is a universally accessible playground for all abilities. Just a short walking distance from downtown Stevens Point, KASH offers tons of opportunities to meet other parents and get outdoors with your little one! Here's more info!
